Normandy D-Day Beaches Guided Motorbike Tour
A long weekend including 2/3*Star accommodation which will take you from the western Channel ferry ports along the Normandy D-Day landing beaches of Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno & Sword.
Follow the route de liberte into Brittany past Le Mont St Michel and return through the awesome roads of Southern Normandy & the Susisse Normande
All the Normandy D-Day beaches were named as part of the OverLord mission with Pegasus Bridge being the first area to be liberated in the mission by the Horsa Glider Unit. The original bridge now rests in its own Museum.
Gold Beach in Arromanches is where the remains of the Mulberry Floating Harbour can be found. You’ll visit Colleville sur Mer and its incredible tributes and cemetery which really focus’s your thoughts on the sacrifice made by the brave united forces.
You will stay in the historical town of Bayeux and visit the pretty port town of Port en Bessin, and will stay in quality local accommodation with Breakfast included.
You’ll see the tribute to the allied paratrooper hanging from the church in St Mere Eglise then on via the DDay Route de Liberte and great biking roads down to the iconic ‘Le Mont St Michel’ on the Normandy/Brittany border.
Experience the beautiful countryside along the stunning roads of the Counter Attack/Contre Attaque and the Suisse Normande. check in for the 2nd night in Brittany where you will visit the American cemetery near St James and the German equivalent in Brittany.
The spectacular Le Mont St Michel and its fabulous bay remaining close at all times while enjoying the virtually traffic free roads this region has to offer.
Take in more scenic routes via some fantastic roads back to your departure point via the market towns of Villedieu les Poeles or Vire on the border of Calvados and the Suisse Normande where we will say ‘A bientot’ until the next time.

- Last day via Le Mont St Michel accompanied to Coutances – Make own way back to the ferry port to UK
Meet and greet at Ferryport or agreed location – Check documents. Head off to the beaches codenamed Omaha, Sword, Juno & Gold. Ride on to 1st hotel check in nr Bayeaux or Port en Bessin. Dinner and discuss the coming days riding, locations and overview.
Leave by 09:30 after included continental breakfast fuelled and ready to ride to the DDay landing beaches museum in Bayeux. A couple of hours here and then work our way towards Mulberry Harbour, Arromanches and to the named Sword & Pegasus Bridge and then we will stop for lunch before heading off down the route de liberte, Vire and to the Brittany border for the evening.
Again leave by 09:30 and head to the German cemetary at Huisnes sur mer & the Americain Cemetary in St James. Retrace the Route de Liberte and fantastic roads through southern Normandy where the final lunch before making our way back to your general point of departure and via the market towns of Villedieu les Poeles or Vire on the edge of Calvados or the Suisse Normande
